What you will do
- Independently research and prospect for new company accounts, including contractors and other business buyers.
- Reach purchasing decision-makers, understand their material needs and prepare accurate quotes.
- Follow up, win the first order and develop repeat purchases from the accounts you acquire.
- Coordinate availability and delivery commitments with the warehouse.
- Keep CRM activity, opportunities and next steps current and track your results.
What you need to bring
- B2B sales experience with a record of independently finding and acquiring new company accounts.
- Ability to identify and reach purchasing decision-makers, secure first orders and develop repeat business.
- Roofing experience is preferred, not required. Experience in building supplies, construction equipment or related B2B sales is welcome.
- Ability to discuss your own sales results and explain how you achieved them.
- Consistent prospecting, follow-up, account visits and organized CRM records.
- Clear communication and accurate quotes, with attention to margin and customer expectations.
- Ability to work full-time with our Sugar Hill team and travel locally to meet company buyers.
- Ability to communicate in English and in either Spanish or Russian is required.
Pay and work location
$20–$25 per hour plus 2% of collected gross profit on assigned accounts. Commission is based on collected gross profit, not total sales revenue. The offered hourly rate depends on relevant experience and demonstrated skills. Individual commission terms are reviewed during hiring.
